Dagun Railway Station
There are several places around this station that are beautiful for photos. Safety first though when using Railway lines.
This is one of my favourite places.
But it is a decent walk through the bush involving steps. Everyone involved in the Photohoot needs to be reasonably fit.
Another one of the old stations in our local region with lots of options for images.
Eagles Nest at Glastonbury
This is a gorgeous location with stunning views and sunsets.
It may not be suitable for small children as there are dangerous edges with long drops and they would need to be watched.
One of my favourite places.
Striking in beauty and rippled with colourful ancient sand dunes.
Its a safe fun place for children to run and play. Great for natural family Photoshoots.
Here you can have Studio images as well as outdoors in the Bush.
Madills Park on the Southside
A simple easy location where children can run around safely. There is even a horse that may come up to say hello.
This free day use area offers nice scenery.. It is dog friendly. Access is off the sealed road via a short unsealed vehicle track. The park is a little remote from the sealed road.
Kawana on the Sunshine Coast is a stunning place for photos.
It can be busy at times and difficult to park but well worth it. Pets are allowed.
Moffat Beach- Caloundra
A lesser known hidden gem on the Sunshine Coast. A sandy beach that is off the tourist trail. A perfect place for young families and dogs are welcome too.
Wild Horse Mountain
If you want to travel a bit further Wild Horse Mountain has the most amazing sunsets.
It is quite steep but concrete all the way. Amazing 360° views of the Glass House Mountains to the west and Bribie Island and the coastal strip to the east.
The Sands on the River Walk is a great safe location for photos. Beautiful spot with lots of options and great parking area.
The Rattler Railway Station
The Historic Gympie Station, Tozer Street is a traditional Queensland building which has been fully restored to its former glory.
There are many spots all around the station for photos including old trains and old railway tracks.
The Pine trees on the way to Tin Can Bay are a stunning location for a Photoshoot. There are tracks that meander through the trees that make for a great location for children to run and play safely.
Emu Mountain- Perigian
Uninterrupted coastal views from the summit of Emu Mountain, on this short hill climb through coastal heath.
1.1 km return
There are a number of tracks that lead off the main track, which all lead to the top. At the top there are a number of rocky outcrops the children love to climb. From the top you can view the different tracks around the mountain that can lead you back to your car.
Victoria bridge on the River Walk is a lovely place for a Photohoot. So many little nooks and crannies and you can walk down to the River if you'd like.
This is a 45 hectare secluded oasis, hidden on the northern side of Buderim, less than a kilometre from the Buderim Village.
There is a board walk from the Car park to the Waterfalls. It can be quite dark as the trees are thick. The Waterfall is stunning.
A perfect combination of beach, trees and gorgeous rocks Coolum beach is a stunning location for a Photoshoot especially if you don't mind getting wet and sandy.
A short walk from the carpark it is perfect for families, maternity or engagement photoshoots.
OUR Beautiful Region
Last but not least is private properties in our stunning region.
If you know someone who has acreage and doesn't mind loaning their views for an hour or so then that would be perfect!!
It makes for a unique Photoshoot.
