FAQ

How does a Boudoir Photoshoot work?

Boudoir Photoshoots take place at my home studio which is totally private.
You can have hair and makeup at my studio or at a salon prior to your visit. .
By this time you will be starting to feel good about yourself already.
We look at any items you bring and work out a plan.
I will then pose you and light you to look your absolute best. You don't need to worry about a thing.
After I have finished editing and collating your images I'll send you your gallery to view. OR if you prefer you can come back to my studio for a private veiwing.
The Emerald package will only take an hour but we will definitely get 15 images for your album during that time and maybe some more for you to purchase if you wish.

How long does it take?

A typical Boudoir Photoshoot can take up to 3 hours. Sometimes more and sometimes less. It depends upon your stamina. Be prepared for a workout. Posing can be physically hard work (although fun)
You can bring as many outfit changes as you wish. I love being creative with outfits.
The Emerald Package only takes an hour but be assured we will get 15 beautiful images for your album and maybe more to purchase separately if you wish. You will have a choice of more than 15 images.

Do I get A Sneak Peek?

I usually try and provide sneak peek images on social media within a week of your Photoshoot.
This is entirely optional.
I will never show anything publicly without your permission.
Privacy is often a big concern for boudoir clients. I will only share anything that you approve. Your gallery will be locked with a pin.

What kind of gear do you use?

I have 3 professional camera's and a multitude of professional lenses and lighting gear.

Do I have to order prints through you?

I would prefer you order prints through me but it is not mandatory.
I cannot guarantee how the prints will turn out if you purchase them elsewhere.
I use professional printing labs because I want my prints to look great on your walls.

How long before I receive my images to view and select?

I will try and have them ready for you within 4 weeks. Sooner if I can. I love working on my images to make them as beautiful as I can. And I love showing them to my clients.
So you can be assured I will be working as quickly as I can for you to see.

Do you travel outside the Gympie area?

LESS THAN ONE HOUR TO LOCATION- FREE
ONE-TWO HOURS TRAVEL – $60 (EG SUNSHINE COAST)
TWO-THREE HOURS TRAVEL – $120 (EG BRISBANE)
$60 PER HOUR OF TRAVEL FOR LONG DISTANCE

I'm not a model. Are boudoir photos still flattering even if my body isn't perfect?

Absolutely! Nobody is perfect and every woman is sexy. If you have any specific concerns, contact me and we can talk about it! In fact I prefer you to tell me what you love about yourself so I can really enhance those parts and also what you least like so I can look for ways to minimise the bits you don’t like.

How do I know how to pose?

Don’t worry about posing. I've totally got you covered in that department. I know all the tricks to create the most flattering angles for you, no matter what shape or size you are.

I'm really nervous. Is that normal?

It is definitely normal to be nervous for your boudoir session, so don't worry.
Most of my clients are nervous at first. I get it!!!
It's a big thing to undress in front of a stranger as well as try and pose etc. BUT I will do everything I can to put you at ease. I provide a totally non threatening environment. You will feel safe with me. I have your back completely and we won't do anything until you feel ok. This is all about YOU and your comfort levels. I have my antenna on high alert and I will sense when you're ready to do more. Most women eventually do more than they realised they would. It is an empowering experience.
